As the Marketing department continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Brand Manager to join the team on this exciting venture.

Super Rare Games is a leading publisher of physical video games, releasing more than 70 games on the Nintendo Switch, making us Europe’s most prolific physical Switch publisher! With a passionate aim to support indie developers of all levels, physically preserve great video games, and offer collectors playable and displayable delights, we live by the mantra to be indies’ best friend.

Super Rare is currently rapidly and substantially expanding, primarily via our original digital publishing label, Super Rare Originals. To date, we have announced 6 original indie titles, with many more in the pipeline behind closed doors. These varied, exciting games from talented individuals and groups have our entire company buzzing.

As the Marketing department continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Brand Manager to join the team on this exciting venture.
As a Senior Brand Manager you will
  • Have full marketing and budget responsibility for the games you are assigned
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to create and then execute marketing plans for our Originals games
  • Brief out agencies and coordinate and approve their deliverables and execution
  • Regularly liaise with the game development team to inform them of your plans, ensure they are aligned and have visibility of their deliverables
  • Work with the Events Manager to maximise the exposure of games at both digital and attended shows
  • Liaise with platform-holders (Nintendo, PlayStation, etc) and partners for co-marketing support
  • Regularly present and report on your activities
  • Work with the Publishing Director to manage the commercial lifecycle success of titles through sales analysis, structured promotions and intelligent licensing

For this role, you’ll ideally need…

  • 4+ years’ experience within a brand or product marketing role at a video game publisher or developer
  • You’ll be a creative and innovative marketeer ideally with experience of community and influencer focused marketing initiatives
  • Experience in developing creative briefs and managing asset development
  • Experience constructively critiquing assets and other materials from a brand perspective
  • Must have extensive knowledge of various platform channels, e.g. Steam, Nintendo, Xbox and PlayStation,
  • You will be meticulously organised and should be able to work efficiently to (sometimes) tight deadlines and budgets, plus have a methodical approach to work priorities
  • You should possess excellent written and verbal skills and be commercially astute
  • And of course, be super passionate about video games and being in the industry
  • The position is a full-time flexible hybrid role, usually working Tues-Thurs from our London office (near King’s Cross) and remotely Mon-Fri. We are not currently looking for fully remote candidates (sorry!)
